The Wicked Wyckerly
by Patricia Rice
Coming July 2010
Welcome to Pat’s world! Regular readers know quirky characters are my specialty and aren’t surprised if they enter this site to discover my bankrupt Earl of Danecroft chasing his foul-mouthed six-year-old daughter over the creaky sofa, or one of my psychic Malcolms examining a cracked crystal ball. If you’re stopping by for the first time, pull up a chair (check that it has all four legs first), and look around. You’ll never know what you’ll run across as you peruse the pages!
Start with my booklist and you’ll find many of the out-of-print titles appearing in electronic format. E-books are not just for e-readers these days. I’ve joined with other authors to build websites where you can find titles that can’t be obtained anywhere else, and they can be read on your computer, so please, take some time to look around. Check regularly—I’m working on the entire backlist, including short stories and novellas.
But first, let’s not forget the July 2010 release, THE WICKED WYCKERLY! That’s where you’ll find my much-maligned Earl of Danecroft and his…umm…spirited daughter. Poor chap, his irresponsible bachelor’s life has just come to a crashing, nearly fatal, end with the inheritance of a bankrupt earldom and the arrival of a six-year-old dispenser of flaming dragon dung. Where’s a wealthy, understanding woman when one needs one? Wyckerly is just the first of the rebellious younger sons in his set to face the pitfalls of marriage. I hope you’ll enjoy the upheaval of their carefree bachelor world.

On Mystic Guardian
“With its complex characters Rice’s last book in the Mystic Isle series pits a stubborn seasoned warrior with an equally determined young woman. With an overview of the French Revolution, depths of emotion, mysticism and a great love, she ties it all together in one passionate and fiery conclusion.”
