My July 21st release of THE KILLER’S DASTARDLY INTRIGUE is my 100th published book!!!!! It’s been a long strange trip since the days back in the early 80s when I sat with my 99c Walmart notebook and 19c Bic pen and scribbled stories to amuse myself while the kids played in the backyard. Those were the days of the big juicy historical romances and I couldn’t afford to buy them often. We had no used bookstores in our small town. So I wrote my own stories. Sold the third one I wrote in 1982 and it took until 1984 for it to be published, so it’s hard to calculate how many books I wrote a year.
