I’m still sitting under my ceiling fan in this unusual heat, but 80 degrees is a lot easier to manage than 90! I have the first two books in the Xanadu Canyon Mysteries up for pre-order, but I’m terrified I’ll write something in Book Three that I’ll have wrong in the first two. I really don’t want to have to re-do everything, so my anxiety levels are climbing. If you read the books and find boo-boos, maybe wait a month or two before telling me. I’ll be hiding my head under a pillow for a while.
Book Three involves wrapping up two cold case
mysteries and two current ones, which takes a lot of planning. Notice, I did not say plotting. If I could plot, I wouldn’t be in this stressed state! I don’t know who did it until about the time the reader does. I like to surprise me. And I stupidly end up killing off all the bad guys before I get there, so it’s tricky!
