Happy Gardening!

I know most of you are sitting in front of fires trying to stay warm. Been there, done that, ran away. But even in the cold days I decorated the pines with suet so the cardinals made bright flowers against the green. I need flowers!

Here in SoCal, we have live poinsettias splashing color against stucco walls. The birds of paradise are full of hummingbirds. But the very best part of SoCal gardening is the fruit! My oranges will be ripe in a month. We have a tree full of more limes than we’ll ever use. And lemons everywhere!

But the avocado. . . well, we all have to have one failure. It bloomed and produced tons of teeny tiny fruit last spring—and they all fell off. Not one single fruit to show for all that effort.

At what point does patience run out? Our yard is small and that tree is taking up a lot of valuable space. . .

But in whatever way you celebrate, have yourself a lovely holiday winter!

And remember: now until December 17, LORD ROGUE is free and the next two books heavily discounted.  These are thick, juicy romantic historicals, so grab yourself some winter reading!
